Anne Kwasner

Anne is Co-Founder/ Artistic Director/ Chair of Roomies Arts. Completing her Masters at the National Art School, Sydney in 2019, Anne is a multi-disciplinary artist who works with drawing, incorporating ceramics and installation. Find out more about Anne’s artwork here. As an advocate, curator, director and tutor Anne has many years’ experience in the arts and disability sector. Anne is a founding member of the national Supported Studio Network.

 

Kristen Fitzpatrick

Kristen Fitzpatrick

Kristen has held a wide range of community development, education and support positions within the disability sector for over 25 years. Kristen is interested in how creativity can foster social connections and enjoys contributing to, and participating in local grassroots community projects. Kristen has been a member of the Roomies committee for the last 3 years and is currently in the position of Treasurer. She also volunteers to run our Open Studio sessions.

George Catsi

Dr George Catsi is an award-winning writer plus a performer, comic and academic. National winner of an AWGIE plus the Kit Denton Fellowship for courage and excellence in performance writing. George has a doctorate exploring persuasive performance. George co-created and co-presents with Mandy Nolan – Authentic You masterclasses exploring deep connection to our authentic voice when presenting. As an academic he teaches at UTS in Design Thinking, Animation and Communications facilitating creative, innovative and entrepreneurial outcomes. He’s Petersham Bowling Club President where on a community level became involved to save a failed club.

Josie Cavallaro

Josie Cavallaro

Josie Cavallaro oscillates between making objects and facilitating projects that enable art to be made and experienced through diverse perspectives. Josie believes that diversity and universal access to the arts underpins innovation and broadens perceptions and possibilities for artistic forms. This sensibility and skill-set has led Josie to be employed by arts, cultural and government organisations such as Inner West Council, Accessible Arts, Museum of Contemporary Art and the Biennale of Sydney.
