Mentorships

Work with professional artists to support you develop your art practise. We can match you with an artist mentor who can help you define and reach your creative goals, such as working towards an exhibition, setting up your creative space and regular practice, developing skills, working through what you need to build your art practice. The sessions are 1:1 

We currently run two mentorship programs: Roomies Art Well Mentorships and Blooming Arts Mentor Prize. Art Well is supported by City of Sydney’s Cultural Resilience Grant.

Access to a supported studio space

Our studio space is located in Camperdown Park, Camperdown NSW 2050. Work on your own art projects or get involved in our programs. (Link to Open Studios Page).

Due to current Covid Safe rules we have limits on the number of people per studio session. Registration is vital for our studio sessions.

Participation in professional opportunities and projects

Are you interested in exhibiting your artwork or getting involved in one of our projects? Roomies collaborates with organisations and supports artists to work in the professional art environment, through commissions exhibitions and more. Past projects include participation in Inner West Council 2019 The EDGE festival and Carriageworks invigilating projects.
