  • embroidery/chenille needle
  • embroidery thread (or you can just use other thread you have at home)
  • embroidery hoop
  • template for design (paper or stencil) pencil/pen/carbon paper/tailors chalk (to transfer design).

Found objects

  • Item of clothing to embroider, small items for embellishment. Have fun.

About Holly-Jane Cohle

Holly-Jane is a freelance designer and maker who lives in Sydney. A lifelong fan of dress-ups Holly-Jane started sewing when she received her first sewing machine at six-years-old and hasn’t stopped since. She can be found most happily inhabiting the place where Props and Costumes meet, delighting in the creation of strange and wonderful wearable art and objects.
